It all starts with a need. Have you looked at the academic publishing landscape? Does it fit your needs-- financially and creatively? Does the system work well with your time constraints? These are the questions the CEOs of 619 Wreath Publishing asked themselves. And they answered "No."
Thus, they created a space to support the publishing needs of academic visionaries by seeing them not as just authors or podcasters but as whole people. As an academic, there are several ways that we can produce professional materials to share with others. Here at 619 Wreath, we accommodate several diverse avenues for publishing material from academics. These are opportunities for our authors to be innovative, while being supported with a strong structure.

We plan for our profits to go back into the hands of our creators. We also plan to use our profits to do good work in the world. With this distribution, Creators are encouraged to donate 10% of the profits to an outreach project or cause of their choice. We intend to use our 10% of the profits to support the Native Scholars Forward Foundation and the Sylvia T. Bozeman Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. We also aspire to create the Academic Transitions Funding Program.
